Cheryl is CEO of the Lean Leadership Center, which helps CEOs weave Lean principles into the fabric of their company culture so they get sustainable, constantly improving results. She has over 30 years of manufacturing experience, having served as vice president of human resources at Flying Food Group and chief operating officer at Parco Foods. Her diverse client list includes Wahl Clipper Corporation, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence, and the State of Illinois. During her five years as chief operating officer she developed an expertise in Lean manufacturing with a particular focus on Lean cultures. Her passion for addressing HR needs in a Lean enterprise led to the publication of her first book, Lean Human Resources: Redesigning HR Practices for a Culture of Continuous Improvement.

During this interactive session, we will review how to listen better and ask more effective questions to build your coaching skills. Participants will learn and practice the core components required of basic coaching skills and take away an action plan suitable to building better coaching habits on a daily basis.
