Rick is the president and CEO of Fireblast Global, a design, engineering, and manufacturing company that provides first responders and fire service personnel with fire training equipment and facilities. He started the company after working as a production lead with McDonnell Douglas, then Boeing. Rick lead Fireblast Global into the world of everyday improvement after becoming increasingly frustrated at stagnant profits and production delays. He had been introduced to Lean concepts while at Boeing and his first try at introducing Lean at Fireblast met with resistance and stalled implementation. In 2015 he and his management team decided to adopt the 2 Second Lean concept espoused by Paul Akers. Since then he has become a serious student and evangelist for the approach, went to Japan on a Lean study tour, and in 2108 hosted the Global Lean Leadership Summit at his company in Corona, California.

Four years later, this manufacturer of fire training equipment and facilities is a testament to the power of everyday improvement. Come learn what it takes.
