Scott is the chief operating officer of The Standard Group (TSG), a print management and marketing logistics company. A 32-year veteran of the graphic arts industry, he is responsible for the execution of the strategic plan and oversees operations at the Print and Technology Center located in Lancaster, PA and the Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Print Center located in Reading, PA. Scott began his career at Acorn Press where he held various positions from Human Resources, to VP Operations and President. His involvement with employee engagement goes back to the days of quality circles. In 2015 Scott was the driving force behind achieving ISO certification at TSG’s Reading facility. As TSG continues its lean journey, Scott serves as the executive team member on the company’s lean steering committee. He recently completed a Six Sigma Black Belt certification program and serves on the board of directors for the Graphic Arts Association.

One night while shooting pool in a back alley joint, Standard’s CI director was introduced by a regular to a tool that drastically changed Standards’ pace of improvement. Standard team members will explain how the company’s new electronic project management tool is configured, used, and helps discover improvement opportunities that went overlooked before.
