Travis, production manager at US Synthetic (USS), has been a key player in USS’s lean journey. In 2011 this Utah-based manufacturer of diamond cutting devices received the world’s most prestigious award for operational excellence, The Shingo Prize. During Travis’s 17 years at USS he has held many positions ranging from manufacturing leader to consultant to integrations manager. He is considered a change management expert with expertise in leadership development, value creation, cultural transformation, strategy goal deployment, scientific method (PDCA), systems thinking, Lean principles, cultural transformation, situational leadership and kaizen methods. He has successfully coached leaders in several companies through USS’s change management model. Travis has a passion for people development, and believes that everyone has the potential to be great if we create the right circumstance.
